Situated near Colyton, East Devon,  Blackbury Camp is an Iron Age hill fort built in the 4th century. It is renowned for its spectacular show of bluebells, which carpet the grounds with violet in late Spring.

Lorraine was so taken by the golden sunlight bursting through the trees in this magical setting that she was compelled to create this 50cm x 50cm acrylic painting on a block canvas. The original is painted on an impressive, chunky style canvas (50mm deep) making it perfect to hang in a contemporary office space, modern house or city apartment. Alternatively, the painting could be framed to work in a more traditional setting.
