You can choose to have your pet portrait painted in acrylic, pastel or alternatively, commission a black & white charcoal drawing.
Charcoal Drawings
Black & white charcoal portraits are drawn on quality cartridge paper and are provided either mounted and framed or, if preferred, just in a soft white, bevel cut mount, ready to frame. The mounted drawing measures 40cm x 40cm /16″ x 16″. Please allow 2 weeks from our receipt of your photographs for your portrait to be completed.

Pastel Portraits
Pastel portraits are drawn on coloured pastel paper and are provided either mounted and framed or, if preferred, just in a soft white, bevel cut mount with backing board, ready to frame. The mounted drawing measures 40cm x 40cm/16″ x 16″. Please allow 2 weeks from our receipt of your photographs for your portrait to be completed.

Portraits in acrylic
Acrylic portraits are painted on stretched cotton canvas. You can choose between a block canvas with a depth of 4.5cm, which can be hung without framing for a contemporary look or, if you would prefer to frame your painting, you can opt for a canvas with a standard 2cm depth. A professional framer will be able to frame both styles of canvas but the choice of frame might be limited for the deeper, block canvas. The cost of your painting will not be affected by the style of canvas you choose.

How to Order Your Portrait
Please feel free to contact Lorraine by email or telephone to discuss your requirements.
Choose a photo or, better still, a selection of photos for the painting and email or post them. Where possible, Lorraine is happy to take the photos for you. If you can come to Sidmouth, there will be no extra cost.
There is a 30% deposit payable at the time of ordering your portrait.
If you would like a second animal in the same painting, just add 30% to the prices above. If you would like more than two animals included, please contact Lorraine for an individual quotation.
Payment can be made by Paypal, cheque or bank transfer. Card payments are also accepted in person at the shop in Sidmouth.
Where applicable, UK postage is charged at a flat fee of £10.
