The Art Den in Sidmouth showcases the work of artist Lorraine Westwood and photographer Bruce Thomas.

As well as Lorraine’s original pastel, acrylic and watercolour paintings, the shop offers giclée prints featuring her work. Lorraine also accepts commissions for pet portraits in pastel, acrylic or charcoal and is equally happy to paint portraits of people.

Bruce’s fine art photographs of Sidmouth and the surrounding area are available mounted or framed. He additionally accepts commissions for portraits, hotels, interiors and commercial photography.

The Art Den also stocks a range of greetings cards featuring Lorraine’s paintings and Bruce’s photographs.

A bit about Lorraine and Bruce

After graduating Lorraine spent much of her working life as a freelance illustrator producing artwork for advertising agencies, design studios, magazines and greetings card publishers. During a ten year period living in the South of France she moved more towards fine art and a number of her paintings were reproduced as prints by fine art publishers in Europe and the USA.

Bruce has been a professional photographer for over 25 years. He started out as a portrait photographer before diversifying into commercial work. During the ten years spent in France, Bruce specialised in photographing superyachts.
